The overall design is a forward interpretation of the traditional Japanese concept of "wa" or harmony, one of the philosophies the owner maintains and has been incorporating over the years; maximizing the element of what "wa" holds without limitations with various artists' point of views crossing over. The ceramic counter tops of the main dinning room feature the work of potter Doichi Uchida, and the lacquered table of the private dining room is created by lacquer artisan Akito Akagi. The enclosed bar area near the front allows great opportunities for gatherings.
