Diesel’s flagship store has opened on Madison Avenue, one of the prestigious streets of New York City. In addition to the bold and sensual qualities which relate back to the very DNA of Diesel, the store design uses the keyword “APARTMENT” to reproduce the salon-like atmosphere that defined the brand’s early stores. The store’s exterior is finished in a unique pattern inspired by the v-stitching found on the brand’s iconic denim products to create a distinctive atmosphere while also conveying the brand’s identity as an international denim brand. The narrow interior is divided into spaces defined with motifs such as the entrance, living room, and wine cellar, using various materials and fixtures to create individually designed atmospheres.
