WONDERWALL

The first DEAN & DELUCA store in Kyushu is the third largest store following New York and Dubai, with approximately 860 ㎡ of space. There are 105 seats at the “Market Table,” where customers can enjoy an authentic dining experience. Using teak materials for the flooring and white-painted brick walls, the design imagines the good-and-old atmosphere of a fictional restaurant, as if it might have existed in 1973 New York when the first DEAN & DELUCA opened. By mixing the “Market Table” with “Market Store,” which includes the bakery and grocery sections, the spatial layout introduces a busy and market-like energy into the store’s atmosphere.
