WONDERWALL

The exhibition, intended to simulate the actual spacial experience by using project models that are essential to Katayama’s design process, was designed in a way that revealed Katayama’s mind and his thoughts. The project models allow us to grasp the entire space, inspect the balance of materials, line of flow, and ambience. At the same time, the models are also small-scale incarnations of Katayama and Wonderwall’s designs. This exhibition follows the first of its series, which took place in 2010. It was organized to illustrate the firm’s expansion into the global sphere, and its continuous growth and progress in project scale and practice. The ten project models left a strong impression of Katayama’s designs and its possibilities to the visitors.
