UNIQLO's first store in Germany opened in Berlin. The entrance is a large, L-shaped opening on a corner of a building that faces a busy street intersection. The store encompasses the first two floors and the basement of this building. Stainless material and tickers accent the background of wood flooring and white walls and ceilings, creating a smooth horizontal and vertical flow across and through the floors. Modern furnitures of Germany, including those of the Bauhaus, add a hint of the local character.
