BAPE STORE® SAPPORO

May 2009 - Sapporo, Hokkaido

The 1980's is the theme applied here for the ever changing BAPE STORE®. Inside the glass windows adorned with the outlines of the usual camouflage pattern is a highly stoic composition with concrete, stainless steel, and white illumination. The neon signs in two locations are the only irregularities that appear in the otherwise very orderly layout which include evenly spaced display racks and ceiling lights. The stoicism that prevails throughout the boutique combines with both the sexy and disrupting nature of the neon signs to create a unique balance.
